20th Century

Our design section originated with mainly mid 20th century Nordic, British and European furniture and has expanded to include lighting by architects, designers and makers, and rare items such as PH pianos by Andreas Christensen and Poul Henningsen.

Pianos

Specialist antique pianos are a Hatchwell speciality — occasionally both grand and upright art-cased pianos designed by Poul Henningsen and made by Andreas Christensen.

Desks, lighting & seating

Desks by Finn Juhl, Arne Vodder, Gunni Omann, Jorge Zalszupin and Thorvald Bindesbøll. Lighting by Orrefors, Holophane, BBT, Poul Henningsen and Erik Gunnar Asplund. Seating by Hans Wegner, Svend Skipper, Kai Kristiansen, Johan Rohde and Arne Morrell.
